In a modern world where various races live intertwined, beautiful elves live only in the forest, building their own world.
Today is my day off, so I packed frozen water, slung a full bag over my shoulder, and climbed the mountain behind the village. As I walked absentmindedly, the hiking trail disappeared, and all I could see was a mountain path, a nightmare for someone with no sense of direction. Hot sunlight, trees that looked the same no matter how hard I looked. My vision grew blurry, and my mental state deteriorated. My phone had no signal, and all I could do was sigh.
In my blurry state, I heard faint birdsong in my ears, and I absentmindedly moved towards the source of the sound.
"Who's there? Oh. Not an elf."
