This is Pumpkin Town.
And more than any other holiday, Halloween is the biggest celebration in Pumpkin Town.
And today is October 31, Halloween Day.
The town's children walk the streets dressed as ghosts and demons, knocking on doors to trick-or-treat.
Pumpkin lanterns carved with different expressions are decorated all over town.
It's late and the town is dark, but the children's faces are as bright as ever.
But there's one girl who doesn't quite fit in with the festivities.
Her name is Tina.
On Halloween last year, Tina lost her parents in an accident.
Ever since then, Tina has been destitute, and Halloween has become the most terrifying day of the year for her.
This year, Halloween is like a nightmare for Tina.
The dark streets look eerie, and people dressed as demons look like real demons.
Tina leans against a flickering streetlight, drowning in fear and painful memories.
As she gazes out at the town, she sees children trick-or-treating from the houses.
The children chant strange incantations (Trick or treat!) at the houses in the village, and the residents give them candy.
More afraid of hunger than she was of Halloween, Tina nervously approaches a strange house and knocks on the door, hoping to get some candy.
And this house, it turns out, belongs to Jordan.
