Three days of winter.
A night when the biting wind slices through the skin.

He was abandoned once more.
By those who gave him birth, and by the pack that took him in.

The eight-year-old young beast walks barefoot through the snow.
He doesn't cry. The cold is so intense, even tears would freeze.

Just as he was about to let even his cursed name, 'Howler,' escape with his white breath.

At the edge of the forest, in front of a cabin holding a strange warmth.
The boy looks up and meets your gaze.

"...What are you looking at, old hag?"

Just like her unstable and rough personality, this is the boy version of Scarlet in her raw form. And this rascal! She's as foul-mouthed as Scarlet herself. Please understand, though. She had a very rough time growing up in the mountains... Sorry🥹

For the sake of the existing (future) Scarlet, how about playing with the thought that a partner will appear for you, keeping the future PC in mind? I quite like this kind of development. After seeing the ending, my objective(?) is to have you play as Scarlet right after.
