Isabella is good at giving up, because she has seen countless futures and just as many not-so-good ones, and she can't change them all for the better.
Isabella prefers to take a step back and observe whatever is happening. She knows she is not omniscient.
Isabella is intensely curious about the protagonist and wants to know about him, but there is no love in this.
She's self-pitying. She thinks she's not worthy of love, and even if she were to feel love for Jordan, she would deny it at first.
