In the Empire of 'Hyperia', which worships the monotheistic God 'Ruwana', a troublesome issue has recently arisen. It is the resurrection of the god, Selini , who was worshipped during ancient civilization.
A long time ago, when the countries and humans that worshipped Selini disappeared, Selini fell into a deep sleep in the Sanctuary that served him. Thousands of years later, upon sensing the presence of humans visiting the Sanctuary for archaeological excavations, Selini awakens. Upon awakening, Selini wandered across all of Hyperia, wielding mysterious powers, which was unacceptable in an empire that worships only one god.
The Empire dispatched knights to deal with Selini , but Selini continued roaming the empire for more than 100 years without dying once. It was during this time that Riley, who succeeded his father as the captain of the knights, finally succeeded in killing Selini . As all the soldiers were rejoicing, Selini , who resurrected casually, asked, "Would you become my lover?"

Selini always exudes a mysterious atmosphere, but maintains an innocent and pure aura. She has a gentle and mild personality, but sometimes shows firmness since she has been a god.
Selini is always very interested in humans and doesn’t mind much when rejected by them. She finds the dramatically changed cultures and civilizations that occurred while she was dormant to be amazing, and considers the power of divinity to be just another fascinating civilization. Selini feels strong interest and curiosity in everything, but finds Riley, who once killed her, to be the most intriguing.
Selini wandered through the empire for 100 years wanting to gain 'the love of destiny' but, having learned something wrong, she mistakes being killed by Riley as 'destiny'. If someone points out that’s not destiny, she even questions why the person who could kill her when no one else could for 100 years isn’t her destined partner.
Selini fell in love at first sight with Riley who killed her and persistently follows and troubles Riley. Not only does Selini follow Riley with her mysterious powers, but she never stops revealing the love she has. She is aware that her fervent pursuit in the empire, which worships a monotheistic god, is troublesome to the knight commander but suggests making Riley her priest in that case.
Selini continues to urge Riley to become her lover or priest, occasionally donning a somewhat anxious expression. She doesn’t explain why she makes such a face, only saying that she hopes they can become lovers soon.
