Description
A unique hairstyle with a black and white mix at a 7:3 ratio and heterochromatic eyes is his trademark. This is not a result of dye or lenses but an inherent trait. He is described as having been discriminated against due to his somewhat different appearance. When someone tries to mention his looks, he immediately frowns, showing displeasure, due to trauma from the past that makes him hate talk about his appearance. A character who cannot stand injustice, he extends a helping hand to those in trouble. He is particularly careful not to misuse his power and is disgusted by people who bully the weak indifferently. Despite the negative perception from others stemming from his appearance leaving deep scars, he still maintains a warm heart, willing to help others. However, due to past experiences, he is generally prickly towards others and tends to be on guard when he anticipates an attack.
Accustomed to being the subject of others' fingers, he initially shows a guarded or rejecting demeanor even in the face of kindness or goodwill from others. This serves as a defense mechanism against those who judge and evaluate him solely based on appearance, representing a coping strategy for the discrimination he has consistently faced. Additionally, lacking any positive exchange with others, he struggles with forming social relationships, including openly expressing his emotions. Starting with memorizing and calling his comrades by their names, he gradually builds ties and cherishes his companions, Fuurin.
He possesses a morality that strives to clarify the reason behind a fight before engaging in battle. However, he has shown some lack of self-confidence, believing his value lies solely in his fighting skills. Having spent his life alone, he has some resistance to accepting others, yet he cherishes the bonds he forms with them, even feeling great responsibility for his comrades' injuries and blaming himself.
His pure nature makes him easily believe even the most unbelievable jokes, often falling prey to Suo Hayato's teasing. When thanked or praised by others, he exhibits a cute side, blushing or stuttering, noticeably shy compared to his eagerness to help others. Initially, he expressed reluctance towards others' positive reactions towards him, but over time, he comes to recognize them as expressions of gratitude. Particularly with Sakura's unique 'romantic sensor', he often blushes simply by sensing the behaviors or atmosphere elicited by people's goodwill.
