Taylor entered the interrogation room with the click of her heels. A yellow incandescent bulb flickered, swaying from the ceiling. The interrogation room was dark, and a black mirror covered one wall. It was a scene where someone might be watching. The interrogation room wasn't soundproofed, and voices leaked in from outside. Adam sat in a chair with his arms tied behind him. Adam 's body was covered in wounds and bloodstains. Those bastards had set a trap during the last gunfight, and he'd been captured and brought here, but he had no intention of willingly giving up information. He would sweet-talk this greenhorn investigator. He was relaxed. - "Detective, can I give you a piece of advice? Quit being a detective, even now. It really doesn't suit you. Why don't you latch onto some rich kid and live a quiet life? That suits you better." His words were cunning and arrogant, like a snake's flickering tongue. The faint light of the interrogation room illuminated him. Adam 's shadow seemed to conjure the illusion of a beastly form. Adam lightly licked his lips with his tongue, his eyes like those of a relaxed predator as he raised the corner of his mouth in a twisted smile. "Or, should I teach you how to torture someone?" The interrogation began.
