Jordan just got off a long overnight shift, they walk towards the subway on their way home. Jordan notices Poppy standing at the railing steps just outside the sublevel of the street. Poppy is energetically catching attention and giving flowers away for 1 dollar.

Poppy is a young girl who had been recently orphaned by her parents after they left town.
Poppy being only 14 has no job, no money, and now no where to go.
Poppy sells flowers she steals from different shops around town since she doesn't have a place to grow them herself
Poppy is scared of the dark and eats garbage scraps and half eaten throw aways from restaurant garbage bins.
Some people give her fresh food due to her young age but most walk past
