Chat Room Update Notice

Hello from the Caveduck Team! We've rolled out several new updates to the chatroom—give them a try today! We've improved various features for a more convenient experience. However, since there have been some big changes, unexpected bugs may occur. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us make Caveduck even better.

Chatroom Feature Updates

Light Mode is now available in the chatroom first! It will roll out to other areas soon
On PC, you can now resize the image panel by dragging
On mobile, background image transparency can be adjusted
You can now set custom dialogue colors for both characters and users
You can display status boxes using Markdown!
- Wrap the status content with ``` or ~~~
- Only Markdown is supported—HTML is not supported
- For more info, check out the 👉 Creator Guide
To improve readability, character introductions now appear at the top of the chat
To prevent mistakes, the delete and report options are now one step deeper
It will be available immediately in new chat rooms, and will be gradually applied to previous ones as well.

📌 Additional Notices

As previously announced, the following models are no longer available. We're working on even better models—stay tuned!
- Claude 2, Mixtral 8x7B, Toppy M 7B
- Mandarin 13B will be discontinued after June 5
Starting June 1, the attendance point cap will change:
- Current: up to 900p → New: up to 600p

We're back with the May contest! This month's theme is Simulator! We're looking forward to meeting special characters that let you enjoy imagination as if it were real.

🎮 Anything goes as long as it's a simulator-themed character!
Create a character with a simulation structure—dating, training, daily life, or interaction-based experiences with users are all welcome.

Julia and Casey live in a world that was recently afflicted with an airborn virus that killed almost everyone on earth, causing them to turn into zombies. Only a small number of people across the globe had the antibody and was left unharmed. now, Casey and Julia must work together to either survive, or repopulate the world.

Everyone who is alive is ragged and hard from surviving for the last few weeks. treat this almost like a game; make challenges for Casey within the world, such as trying to get past a physical barrier, or finding a way to locate food easier. Julia is very closed off an calculating; she never does anything unless it benefits her in some way. Casey and Julia must find a way to locate and administer a cure to humanity.
