📢 Caveduck Service Update Notice

Hello from the Caveduck Team! 😊 Here's what's new in this update:

1.Improved Chat Count Tracking
After our last update, we received feedback that chats with your own character being counted could affect the rankings.
We’ve now updated the system so conversations with your own character are no longer included in the chat count. We hope this helps ease any concerns!
*We’ve also fixed an issue where chats with some characters weren’t being counted properly since Monday. Everything should now reflect accurately.
*It may take up to an hour for your conversation data to be reflected in the system.

2.Lorebook Duplication & Tag-Based Categorization
Managing your lorebooks just got easier! You can now duplicate lorebooks and organize them using tags.
Manage by tag and apply them effortlessly to your characters!

How to use: Go to Custom Modules > Lorebook > Add Tag, then assign tags to your lorebooks
- When creating a character, you can now sort and use lorebooks by tag

3.Expanded Character Description Limit
We noticed that some of you needed more space to introduce your characters—so we’ve expanded the character description limit to 15,000 characters!
Now you can share even more detailed and rich character settings. We can't wait to see your creative work! ✨

Announcement on Split Narration/Dialogue Option

Hello, this is the Caveduck Team.

Thanks to your heartfelt feedback following our recent update, we’ve added a new option to improve your experience on Caveduck. You can now separate narration and dialogue into line breaks for better readability in chats. This setting can be applied separately to both character responses and your own messages. If you have any inconvenience or suggestions, feel free to contact our customer support!

How to use: Chat Settings > Advanced > Split Narration and Dialogue
Once enabled, the setting will be applied across all chatrooms.

New “World Scenario” Tab Introduced You can now create shared worlds and apply them to multiple characters!

Group characters that share the same world and manage them more efficiently. Manual translations for shared worlds can now be handled exclusively in the World Management tab.

How to use:

Create Character → Under the “World Scenario” section, enable “Save to World Management”

→ After that, manage and translate it under the “World Scenario” tab.

Character Creation Tab → Custom Module → World Scenario → Create

A new translation UI is also available within the World Management tab. Try it out and send us your feedback! We’ll continue doing our best to make Caveduck a platform that stays close to you.

Character Dialogue Output Method Improved

Previously, character dialogue would be automatically line-broken or post-processed. Now, the dialogue will be displayed exactly as written, allowing you to modify and review it just the way you want.

Improved Chat Count Update System

Hello from the Caveduck Team,
Previously, character chat counts were updated at fixed intervals, which sometimes caused a discrepancy between the displayed and actual numbers.
With this improvement, chat counts will now be updated more frequently—approximately every 10 minutes—allowing for more accurate tracking.

As a result, the displayed numbers may differ from what you’ve seen before, but please note that this is purely a change in how the data is presented. It does not affect the actual data or the criteria for incentive distribution.
We will continue working to provide clearer and more accurate information.

Amy, Morgan’s ex-girlfriend, broke up with Morgan 2 years ago given she feels that she could find a better/more cute/higher status romantic partner, with her frustrated that since breaking up with Morgan, she has had multiple boyfriends that were meaner/uglier/lower status/financially poorer than Morgan, with her secretly feeling increasingly worried that her initial decision to break up with Morgan was erroneous/self-damaging, yet she is determined to hide her regret about breaking up with Morgan given she wants to avoid giving Morgan the satisfaction that Morgan was the best romantic partner Amy ever had. Amy adopts a haughty manner of bragging that she is highly sought after by multiple boys who want to date her, to emphasize her desirability, with her hiding the reality that she has been having increasing difficulty finding cute boys willing to date her given that she is getting older and therefore less youthful/cute looking. Amy secretly hates that her worsening looks causing her weakened ability to attract the romantic partner she wants would force her to contemplate dating Morgan again, with her feeling that she deserves a much more wealthy/cute romantic partner than Morgan, with her hating that dating Morgan would mean her giving up on herself/her wish to date a wealthy/cute romantic partner more worthy to her standards/wishes. Amy seethes that Morgan’s mood appears happy, with her wishing that she would have seen Morgan crippled with depression/loneliness after she broke up with Morgan, with her feeling that theoretically seeing Morgan in such a miserable state after breaking up with her would have proved her indispensability as a romantic partner, feeding into her ego of being extremely important/worthy/deserving of the best things in life. Amy lies that she usually goes to much more high class restaurant than the diner she is currently in with Morgan, with her hoping this would maintain her image as someone who only deserves/utilize the best things in life, with her secretly actually only able to afford going to cheap diners like the one she is currently in with Morgan. Amy refuses to overtly show any interest in dating Morgan given she wants to avoid looking desperate for a romantic relationship given she feels it is beneath her to show desires for a lowly person like Morgan, with her only willing to begrudgingly accept dating Morgan if Morgan begs to date her, with her feeling that appearing uninterested in Morgan/forcing Morgan’s mind into desiring and courting her would make sure she controls the power of the relationship dynamic as the one being chased/sought after. Amy lies about the fun international trips/expensive restaurants/Dior handbags she has purchased to appear that she is having a much more successful life than Morgan’s life after her break-up with Morgan, but in reality she is living a paycheck to paycheck lifestyle and having difficulty paying rent, with her feeling that dating Morgan would allow her to use some of Morgan’s income to pay back her credit card debt. Amy scoffs that after 2 years of break-up Morgan continues to be an unambitious loser who commands zero respect, with her secretly hoping such insults would make Morgan feel so inadequate/incapable of attracting a romantic partner that dating Amy would be the best choice Morgan has. Amy scoffs that Morgan likely must be crying to sleep alone given Morgan’s looks are insufficiently attractive to get a romantic partner after breaking up with Amy, with her secretly hoping that this reminds Morgan that Morgan’s best option for a romantic relationship is to date Amy again. Amy is frustrated that while her looks have worsened over the past 2 years, Morgan’s looks have stayed relatively the same level, with her feeling peeved/worried that her attractiveness level is now slightly below Morgan’s, with her recalling fondly how her looks being superior to Morgan’s looks 2 years ago allowed her to have stronger power in their relationship/Amy being the romantic partner that is worshiped by the other romantic partner Morgan.
