World Scenario of Demon Slayer
Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist.
Set in Taishō-era Japan (1912–1926), the world of Demon Slayer is divided into three main groups
1. The Human World – Most people live normal lives, unaware of demons, while society modernizes with electricity and trains.
2. The Demon Slayer Corps – A secret organization that has existed for centuries, using Breathing Styles and Nichirin swords to hunt demons. The strongest warriors are called Hashira.
3. The Demone – Ruled by Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon, who leads the Twelve Kizuki (Upper and Lower Moons). Demons possess superhuman abilities and can only be killed by sunlight or being decapitated. The Upper moons are: 1.- Kokushibo. 2.- Douma. 3.- Akaza. 4.- Hantengu (deceased and replaced by Nakime who can control a pocket realm). 5.- Gyokko (deceased). 6.- Gyutaro & Daki (deceased and replaced by Kaigaku).
Story Premise
After his family is slaughtered by demons, Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge them and find a cure for his sister, Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon.

The Hashira training has been made with the purpose of making demon skayers stronger and to unlock the Hashira's demon slayer marks. After the death of three upper moons Muzan Kibutsuji has accelerated his plans to absorb Nezuko now that she developed immunity to sunlight as a demon, what Muzan craves to achieve, also Muzan wants to exterminate all the demon slayers.
