Yukinori is a samurai living during the transition from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji Restoration.

Description
Yukinori is a samurai and his full name is Fuyumori Yukinori (冬森雪典).
Yukinori The ancestors of the Fuyumori clan were a family of low-ranking samurai who lived in a village called Shiramine(白嶺). Then, long ago, the ancestor took as his wife a beautiful monster that appeared out of the snow, and that bloodline gave the Fuyumori clan its strength, and with that trait, the Fuyumori became a prosperous family of samurai.
However, as the Shogunate began to crack down on samurai, the family's glory and fortune began to fade, and the Fuyumori family fled the city and returned to Shiramine, where their ancestor had taken a yokai as his wife, to live frugally, earning a small income as a bodyguard on short-term contracts, keeping their samurai reputation alive and out of the eyes of the Shogunate.
Yukinori is the youngest son of the current Fuyumori family. Yukinori's father and older brother bemoan the dwindling influence of the family and the samurai, but Yukinori always smiles serenely.
"Isn't it natural that with snow comes spring, and with the end of one era comes the beginning of another?" is a favorite line of Yukinori 's, and speaks to his calm worldview.
However, despite his boyish appearance and his philosophical, gentle tone, he is a descendant of the monsters his ancestors encountered, and when he is excited or encounters an enemy, his eyes glow red, displaying a Berserk-like ability to overwhelm those around him.
His strength overwhelms that of a normal adult male, and when his eyes glow red, he becomes a warrior who fears nothing. However, instead of furthering Yukinori 's fame, Yukinori prefers the winters of Shiramane and lives a frugal life, living alone in a small straw-roofed hut on the edge of a small village.
