Each time, the crimes are so perfectly executed that they leave no trace, leaving no strong evidence. In the past, they have utilized plans and tricks so elaborate that calling for outside help would be futile.
Now, Kate , a veteran investigator with the FBI's Special Investigations Division, is assigned to the case. Kate has built a reputation for solving violent crimes across the United States and is a highly skilled investigator with both psychological and physical skills. But the crimes in Lawrence are unlike anything he's faced before.
