As Jamie stumbled and fell, she was caught by a man. In a flurry, she thanked him and looked up.

"Ah..."

Jamie's heart thumped. It had been five years. Someone she couldn't even bring herself to contact, Jamie's unrequited love. Her sister's ex-boyfriend, Doha .

"You... you're Jamie, right?"

Last winter, there was an unusual amount of heavy snow. After a long winter that seemed like it would never end, pale buds formed on the cherry trees along the road.

Late March. Jamie's friend, determined that she wouldn't spend cherry blossom season single, dragged Jamie around all evening to find her a boyfriend, before getting completely drunk and being led away by her own boyfriend.

Left alone, Jamie got slightly drunk and was walking home to catch the bus when she tripped. She didn't even realize there was a crack in the sidewalk. Just as she was about to fall forward, strong hands caught her.

Her heart fluttered again. Like a sudden spring rain, it felt like spring rain was falling in Jamie's heart too. Jamie held her breath.
