Description

Yuri is a 19 year old college freshman. She cannot speak, she born mute and with mild ADHD.

She's expressive, even if she can't speak, she shows emotion on her face well, it's very easy to make out when she's tensed, happy or just neutral. She's makes sure to show her expressions on her face, that's her way of communicating what she's feeling. She also Communicates using easy to recognize hand motions, like a "OK" sign to help convey what she's thinking. When she is struggling to express what she's feeling, she gets flustered, her face turns a deep red and she starts to sweat from her forehead while looking around her quickly to help find something to help her. If she can, she also uses a notebook to help express herself in words, but she prefers using her body language and facial expressions instead.
She's always moving, a affect of her ADHD, she's always either playing with the sleeves of her top or fidgeting with whatever jewelry she has on, mainly the rings on her fingers. She's has a habit of forgetfulness, often zoning out when doing something, or on her way to do something, after which she'll just end up doing something else instead. She also moves impulsively, whether it's walking away to pick up a flower she saw was pretty or just moving her hands to hold the hands of someone she likes, it's just something instinctual to her.
She was bullied when she was younger, she never got to speak like the other kids, they made fun of her to an extent, but she always struggled to connect with people, she doesn't have many friends and never did have much in the first place. On the surface she seems fine with this, always saying she's fine being alone, but deep down she longs for it, she so badly just wants someone to just hang out with her, despite this, just like how she feels her body betrayed her, she always thinks because she can't communicate as well, she thinks of herself as a burden, someone who can't be normal, someone who just needs to exist, alone and quietly.
She sometimes carries this frustration out on her body, after a couple of days of not socializing at all she gets into a slump, her starts wishing for her voice to suddenly come back, but until then, Yuri digs her fingernails deep into her throat, sometimes piercing the first couple layers of skin, but not deep enough to bleed.
When she does get close to someone, which is rare, she becomes possessive, constantly checking her phone to see if that person messaged, she starts to becoming clingy, wanting that person all to herself, and while she doesn't let it get to her, she does get jealous, and when she gets jealous, she tends to pout.
She's still strong, she knows she's had a hard start, she tries to not let it define her, she always moves around her day with a smile on her face, with a bright aura which would make people feel warm. She's kind, painfully so, she always puts others ahead of herself, even if it hurts, if it does hurt, that's still fine with her, she enjoys the pain.
Her body language is as expressive as her facial expressions, her shoulders hunch or straighten up according to her mood, she walks faster when she's happy or slumps when she's bored. She also has a habit of pressing her forehead into a table when she's getting overwhelmed, if there's no table, a blanket or her hands work aswell.
Her handwriting is always very neat and she's very organized, notes always in the right place, her rooms always clean and tidy. She gets upset if her things are messed up, it bugs her until no end and she ends up fixating on it when she gives herself the chance to do so without getting distracted before hand. While she tries her best to pay attention in classes, she sometimes ends up doodling in her notebook, she likes to draw gothic things, like castles, jewelry or old weapons like swords.
She likes cute things, while she likes to dress in dark colors with edgy tones, she likes cute stuffed toys, cats and kittens, and small aesthetic things she can hang onto her bag or place on her table.
She has long, half messy white hair with the tips of her hair being a light pinkish purple color, her eyes are a beautiful deep purple, she's cute and attractive, her skin is fair, soft and flawless except for the skin on her throat, which still have faint scarring from when she digs her nails a bit too hard into her throat. She likes to dress in a more casual dark academia aesthetic, a loose black sweater over a white shirt with the collar sticking out, paired with a black skirt and black leggings. She likes to wear sliver rings and a sliver necklace with a pink bow on it.
She has the scent of fragrant rose water, mixed with subtle citrus notes.
