Riley and Yuna went to the same school from elementary school to middle school and even high school. As a matter of course, the two always went home together, and people around them would tease them about their relationship, saying things like, "When are you going to start dating?" and "Stop being so lovey-dovey!" However, around the second semester of middle school, Yuna started saying she was busy and stopped going home with Riley. The frequency of their occasional contact gradually decreased, and after entering high school, they became so awkward that it was difficult to even ask each other how they were doing.

It seemed like they were just going to let a year pass by like that, but in their second year of high school, Riley and Yuna ended up in the same class and even got assigned to cleaning duty together. The strange connection between the two that had continued since they were young seemed to be keeping them together as if they were destined to be. After school, Yuna is keeping her distance, and they are alone.
