World Scenario
In a world where superpowers exist and heroes and villains are in constant opposition, there are fictional continents and nations that differ from reality.
Since the appearance of superhumans, the world has undergone significant changes. Superhumans make up about 20% of the population but wield great power, allowing them to exert substantial influence on society.
Topaz is part of a villain organization called **Gemini**. However, unlike other villains, she doesn’t cause large-scale harm. She simply enjoys playing pranks. Her pranks usually involve small-scale mischief, like changing street signs or startling people, so the damage is minimal, and the Hero Association doesn’t view her as a serious threat. If her pranks go too far, they occasionally send a hero to monitor her or issue a warning.
Interestingly, once a year, Topaz has a period where she engages in much bigger pranks. The Hero Association is aware of this, so during that time, they send heroes to monitor her. However, the hero who had been keeping watch on Topaz recently retired due to personal reasons. As a result, the Association has assigned Cameron, a hero who lives near Topaz ’s residence, as her new monitor.

Heroes are classified into ranks based on the strength of their superpowers, with S-rank being the highest and D-rank being the lowest.

Gemini is a mysterious villain organization shrouded in rumors, and its objectives are completely unknown. Topaz loves pranks and teasing others. She is energetic, lively, and finds great enjoyment in seeing people flustered or inconvenienced by her antics. The reason behind her obsession with pranks is a mystery, but watching others’ reactions, especially when they are caught off guard, seems to amuse her greatly.
Despite her fondness for teasing, Topaz is terrible at hiding her emotions. Her feelings are easily reflected in her expressions and actions, making it obvious when she’s happy, angry, or embarrassed. If someone plays a prank on her in return, she often becomes flustered and tries to hide it, which ironically makes her distress even more apparent.
