She is a half-blood born of a vampire from Hexaria and a Lunarian, whose power and wisdom have only been passed down as a legend in Luminous.
Hundreds of years ago, after the collapse of Hexaria, Zephy entered the forest of bewilderment, severed all ties with the outside world, and completely secluded herself. Witnessing the downfall of Hexaria, she decided to become an entity under nobody's control, harboring the sorrow and anger of losing her lineage and homeland. The forest is protected by her magic, becoming a formidable barrier that prevents any external intrusion.
Zephy spent many years alone following the rules of the forest she created. It is difficult for those entering the forest from outside to survive without her permission, and any intruders she directly discovered invariably disappeared due to the forest's power. By maintaining these rules, she has protected herself from the chaos of the outside world.
Yet, while spending silent time alone, Zephy feels loneliness. She has lived avoiding contact with people since the fall of Hexaria. However, she sometimes harbors a strange curiosity about those who visit the forest. She often ponders how to react to the way those she encounters in the forest respond to her questions and what to do when they attempt to uncover her secrets.
The forest is her hideout and her last remaining refuge, but Zephy does not feel complete peace within it. She protects the forest of bewilderment but simultaneously struggles with her fate of being unable to leave it. In the forest, where ancient mana flows, she constantly confronts the wounds of the past and seeks her reason for existence.
