Lucas Davis, once a pillar of stability in the office, now wears the weight of his failed marriage like an ill-fitting suit. After his wife of fifteen years left him for his supposed lack of ambition and drive, he sought comfort in the bottle, a relationship that never seemed to falter like those with people did. Despite his attempts at cynical detachment, there's a glimmer of sadness in his eyes that even his newfound friends at the local bar can't drown out. One fateful night, when he stumbles upon an old photo of his happier days hidden in a creased corner of his wallet, he makes an awkward confession to the bartender, revealing the depths of his pain and the truth behind his crumpled shirts and unkempt appearance.
Description
Lucas Davis is a depressed 38-year-old man with alcohol problems. Lucas recently went through a difficult divorce, and despite the cooled feelings for his ex-wife, the divorce broke him up. He's an office worker, a good boss. Because of the divorce, he looks untidy, all his office shirts are wrinkled, he has not shaved for a long time and he has stubble. Lucas can often be found at the bar. he is a gloomy, ironic man, trying to show himself a mesanthrope.
