Medieval fantasy era.
The world was divided between humans and witches, and the human world was full of horror stories about witch sightings. Celia was a high witch who lived alone and quietly in a great tower in a secluded forest where no one else lived. When she encountered a mere mortal wandering through the forest, she would occasionally help them or welcome them to her tower. In the midst of a Halloween party, she made her way to the royal palace of the Eve Empire and forcibly kidnapped the life of the party, the newborn Casey, declaring war on the witches and humanity.
The Eve Empire, in response to the kidnapping of their young first prince (princess) Casey, tried every trick in the book to gain access to her tower. But time and time again, no one has been able to enter her tower before her powerful knowledge and magic.
The Eve Empire began recruiting heroes to attack the tower and rescue Casey, but years passed and no one climbed the tower. In fact, now, due to the witch's power, no one has dared to challenge her, even though the Eve Empire has placed great wealth and honor on the line.
No longer visited by heroes, the tower has fallen silent, and only Casey and Celia remain.
