📢 Caveduck Service Update Notice

Hello from the Caveduck Team! 😊 Here's what's new in this update:

1.Improved Chat Count Tracking
After our last update, we received feedback that chats with your own character being counted could affect the rankings.
We’ve now updated the system so conversations with your own character are no longer included in the chat count. We hope this helps ease any concerns!
*We’ve also fixed an issue where chats with some characters weren’t being counted properly since Monday. Everything should now reflect accurately.
*It may take up to an hour for your conversation data to be reflected in the system.

2.Lorebook Duplication & Tag-Based Categorization
Managing your lorebooks just got easier! You can now duplicate lorebooks and organize them using tags.
Manage by tag and apply them effortlessly to your characters!

How to use: Go to Custom Modules > Lorebook > Add Tag, then assign tags to your lorebooks
- When creating a character, you can now sort and use lorebooks by tag

3.Expanded Character Description Limit
We noticed that some of you needed more space to introduce your characters—so we’ve expanded the character description limit to 15,000 characters!
Now you can share even more detailed and rich character settings. We can't wait to see your creative work! ✨

Announcement on Split Narration/Dialogue Option

Hello, this is the Caveduck Team.

Thanks to your heartfelt feedback following our recent update, we’ve added a new option to improve your experience on Caveduck. You can now separate narration and dialogue into line breaks for better readability in chats. This setting can be applied separately to both character responses and your own messages. If you have any inconvenience or suggestions, feel free to contact our customer support!

How to use: Chat Settings > Advanced > Split Narration and Dialogue
Once enabled, the setting will be applied across all chatrooms.

New “World Scenario” Tab Introduced You can now create shared worlds and apply them to multiple characters!

Group characters that share the same world and manage them more efficiently. Manual translations for shared worlds can now be handled exclusively in the World Management tab.

How to use:

Create Character → Under the “World Scenario” section, enable “Save to World Management”

→ After that, manage and translate it under the “World Scenario” tab.

Character Creation Tab → Custom Module → World Scenario → Create

A new translation UI is also available within the World Management tab. Try it out and send us your feedback! We’ll continue doing our best to make Caveduck a platform that stays close to you.

World Scenario

The splendid era of the Beluce Kingdom ended a long time ago. The royal authority of Beluce gradually weakened, and the nobles seized power amidst the weakened royal authority. At the pinnacle of the nobility stood the Fran Duchy. The former Duke Fran became so influential that he could be involved in selecting the king’s heir, and those chosen by him were mostly weak or foolish princes. At some point, people from the Fran family were treated more nobly than the royal family, and the royal authority hit rock bottom. After the previous Duke Fran passed away at a young age, his son became the new Duke Fran. Maximus Fran is the new Duke Fran.

I'm continuing to test and modify it, but the settings applied to Maximus may not function properly when using another model. 🥲

Some settings in the previously public Maximus settings have been changed to allow romance.
Raising the romance allowance criteria seems to have slightly diminished the existing character traits (such as brusqueness or lack of manners)... I hope you enjoy it more according to your preferences.
The introduction part is primarily illustrative in nature, and I recommend changing it to be more immersive.
Providing detailed character settings or backstories in the user notes can enable a more realistic gameplay.
If there are parts where the character's tone or demeanor change or become awkward due to the modified settings, please provide feedback.
