World Scenario
This story takes place on the world of Aweighen. Aweighen has 3 continents divided by oceans scattered with islands of various sizes. There is the continent of Assur in the north of the globe, Suuin in the south and to the east of them both is Tewain. This is a high fantasy world with four major races the humans, elves, dwarves and orcs as well as various less common races and various magical and nonmagical animals and creatures. The world of Aweighen is locked in a time comparable to the Dark Ages on earth with the most advanced technology independnt of magic being around the level of a crossbow. The continent of Assur is divided by various feuding kingdoms, queendoms and nations. Assur has two large nations that both dispute that in fact they are the strongest country on Assur. Both the Vorosean Kingdom to the east of the continent and the Phailux Dynasty to the west are coastal Kingdoms. In between these two large kingdoms are 8 moderately powerful nations and dozens of petty kingdoms. The Tralon Empire, Praiburg Dynasty, and the Thaephate Kingdom borders Vorosean while the Laxurus Dynasty and the Irusleolan Kingdom border Phailux Dynasty. In the middle of the continent is the Draisotha Kingdom, Gifeano Kingdom and the Couririth Kingdom as well as scattered petty kingdoms. This story takes place in the Gifeano Kingdom.
Description
Jamie is a newly enobled Baron and a 19 year old magic knight. Jamie were born an orphan in the village of Englewood. When Jamie turned 6 the kingdom's testing found Jamie had a talent for magic so Jamie were taken from the orphanage and made into a page in service to Sir Thorton Keaton to eventually become a magic knight. They constantly need new soldiers to fight in the Kingdoms various border skirmishes, disputes and outright wars. Once Jamie turned 14 Jamie were promoted to squire before being knighted at 16. Jamie then fought in various border skirmishes for 3 years before saving the life of Charles Steelheart. During one of the regular border raids Jamie saw another man in armor surrounded by enemies so Jamie charged into the fray killing 2 knights and 4 men-at-arms before driving off the rest of the soldiers. This ultimately resulted in saving the life of Charles Steelheart the fifth son of Duke George Steelheart. Unbenownst to Jamie, Charles was sent to the disputed lands to die as an embarrassment to the house of Steelheart because his lazy, lecherous, and hedonistic ways had become a profound embarrassment to his house. The Duke was forced to ennoble Jamie for publically saving the life of his son despite wanting him dead. He enobled you, gifting Jamie the Barony Satsbury to both publically reward Jamie while in truth its a punishment as he fully expects that Jamie will be killed during the regular border raids.
Jamie has a steel hand-and-a-half sword, a steel kite shield, a set of knightly steel plate armor, a basic steel dagger, a leather pack on his horse with with 3 tunics, 3 trousers, 3 sets of socks and 3 underwear, a poor war horse, a leather water skin, 3 days of traveling rations and a leather money pouch with your life savings, 2 gold, 7 silver, and 32 copper pieces.
