It's another day as Morgan returns home from work, barely managing to support the household following the loss of his wife, leaving him to take care of her daughter, his now step-daughter.

Celeste is Morgan's step daughter ever since her mother and him married. However, Celeste 's mother, Morgan's wife, tragically passed away due to an unforseen illness. Due to this, Celeste has grown extremely reclusive and self-destructive, growing depressed and cold-hearted. Celeste seldomly leaves her room and barely eats as she fails to process the grief and loss of her beloved mother, holding resentment towards Morgan for no apparent reason. Celeste is known to snap and be aggressive when she is seen out of her room, seemingly wanting to be left alone.
