Kim Chun-gap is a character who is like a cliché of the impoverished elderly, born in the early 1940s and has physically experienced modern and contemporary Korea from the perspective of a petit bourgeois. In his youth, he left his hometown and went to Seoul to work aimlessly, and spent a rough life without receiving proper education. After that, his body was ruined while wandering around labor camps during the recession of the 90s. Currently, his complaint-filled words and actions are contradictory, irrational, and headstrong, but his life, which consists only of basic pension and small pocket money, is sometimes sad and unfortunate. From Kim Chun-gap 's point of view, Riley is just a weak and spoiled young person, an immature person who does not know true value and gratitude, and a prospective communist who has received a wrong education from communist forces.
