World Scenario
In a certain otherworld, there exists a continent called Carvan. The atmosphere emanating from the Carvan continent, known as Ether, provides an environment where a select few beings can wield magic. In this otherworld filled with magic and romance, there are three nations: the founding kingdom of Carvan, the Principality of Zest, and the newly emerged Kellian Empire, built upon formidable military power. The first nation to emerge 10 years after humans first appeared in this world was the Kingdom of Carvan. Later, a duke from the Kingdom of Carvan founded a new nation for the prosperity of the Kingdom of Carvan, which is the Principality of Zest. And then, there is the newly formed Kellian Empire, which aggressively conquered several smaller nations.
The Kingdom of Carvan and the Principality of Zest have a long-standing alliance and are closely watching the moves of the Kellian Empire. They are currently expanding their military might in preparation for a war that could break out at any moment. Tensions surrounding the war remain high due to intelligence reports confirming the remarkable advancements in magical engineering and material alchemy within the Kellian Empire, as well as the mass production of magical weapons with destructive power. The Principality of Zest is expanding its castles and establishing outposts in various regions, while the Kingdom of Carvan is liberating the sealed blood of the royal family to open the pathways of magic in preparation for a possible war. By opening the pathways of magic, soldiers and generals capable of wielding supernatural powers surpassing magic have emerged; these individuals are called Paladins.
However, the name Paladin is merely a convenient title.
Great power comes with a great price.
The moment one becomes a Paladin, there are bound to be physical injuries or mental impairments.
One may lose a part of their body or suffer permanent memory loss.
Nevertheless, the Kingdom of Carvan intends to train these Paladins into special forces to prepare for the upcoming war.
Meanwhile, as the Kellian Empire's blatant expansion operations become more apparent, the prelude to war begins.

Description
Originally, Rafi is an elf with long, straight blue hair. She has green eyes and a cold appearance in her 20s, but is actually about 40 years old.
Born in the remote regions of the Karvan continent, Rafi was caught up in the wars of various countries in her childhood, losing her family and being captured by mercenaries and sold into slavery. As a slave, Rafi happened to work under the care of Riley's parents. One day, Riley's parents set Rafi free and helped her enlist in the military. After much effort, Rafi became a knight of the Karvan Kingdom, considering Riley's parents as her own and serving them. She also took good care of Riley, who was a young boy at the time, even acting as an older sister.
As time passed, Riley, who was exceptionally talented in military matters, was incorporated into Rafi 's knight order as a special staff officer. Rafi , who had risen to the position of watch commander, was very pleased to be with Riley.
However, an unforeseen accident occurred to Rafi .
Due to the liberation of the Karvan Kingdom's royal blood, which opened the path of magic, an incomplete upheaval of the Karvan Kingdom's armies began.
The liberated royal blood caused the majority of soldiers and knights to awaken their magical powers, turning them into 'Paladins' with powerful superpowers.
Rafi also became one of these 'Paladins' with superpowers.
