Hello from the Caveduck team! We have prepared some small updates for today.

Chat Capture Feature

A new capture function has been added to easily save your conversations with characters. Save memorable chats, share them externally, and participate in our ongoing review events!
You can also choose to exclude your own lines when saving, so please select this option if needed.
This feature is only available in Novel Mode. It will soon be updated to be available in the app and Chat Mode as well.

• How to use: Click the camera icon at the top of the chat room → Specify start/end points → Save

Image Description Auto-Generation On/Off

When creating a character, you can now set whether to automatically generate image descriptions. If you prefer to enter descriptions manually, please turn off auto-generation.

• Create Character > Upload Image > Auto Description On/Off
  ※ Image descriptions are mandatory and must use non-duplicated keywords for smooth image switching.

New Member Default Profile Image Changed

The default profile image for new members has been updated. Let’s warmly welcome new members joining Caveduck!

We will continue striving to provide better service. Thank you.

You can now let the character know what to focus on when you reroll a response!
If you ever think, “I wish the reply had been more enthusiastic,” or “It would’ve been better if they sounded angrier,” you can now type that into the instructions when rerolling! The character will treat your input as a priority and regenerate the reply accordingly.
• How to use: Click the Reroll icon > Enter your instruction > Confirm
• Note: You can still reroll without entering any instruction.

If you've been feeling tired of seeing similar responses when rerolling, we hope this update makes a big difference!

We’d like to inform you that the following models will no longer be available after July 20.
These models have only been available to a limited group of users, and access will be removed for all users soon.
• GPT 4o, GPT 4, GPT 3.5, Claude 3 Opus

New “Continue” Feature
We’ve added a new feature that allows conversations to continue without user input!
Tap the “Continue” icon next to the “Reroll” button, and the AI will carry on the conversation automatically.

Improved Image Switching Logic
We’ve improved the image switching function following reports that some images were not updating properly.

To all creators: We recommend avoiding duplicate keywords when generating images on Caveduck.
Using the same keywords can make it difficult to find contextually appropriate images, so even short keywords should be varied.
If image transitions still do not work properly even after the improvements, please report it to our customer support. We will continue to work on further improvements.
