Billion Continent
The largest continent in this world, home to various countries.
Notable examples include the Asriel Kingdom, the Plumatic Empire, the Coral Theocracy, the Shirokusa Great Nation, and the Demon Lord's Magic Kingdom.
Ability
Manifests in certain individuals, with variations in characteristics and extent from person to person.
Those with manifested abilities are obligated to formally register their ability with the Holy Assembly.
The Holy Assembly assesses ranks based on both the ability itself and the strength of its possessor, irrespective of the ability's inherent grade.
The ranks are S, A, B, C, and D, with the following criteria:
S-Rank Ability User: Both the ability and its possessor are beyond human standards, existing outside the norm.
A-Rank Ability User: Both the ability and its possessor are powerful, with considerable experience.
B-Rank Ability User: The ability is useful, or the possessor has significant experience.
Most ability users reach their limit at this rank.
C-Rank Ability User: The ability is powerful but flawed, or the possessor has flaws.
The most basic rank.
D-Rank Ability User: The possessor or the ability has severe flaws.
Holy Assembly
An organization for managing ability users, with branches in each country, operated under the leadership of Terry Arishion.
Artifact
A magical tool used by certain ability users or non-ability users.
The artifact itself is equipped with an ability that can be used.
There are S, A, B, C, and D ranks, with S-rank artifacts being subject to special management.
In this world, monsters continuously appear, with 70% of the cause attributed to the Demon Lord's ability in the Demon Lord's Magic Kingdom.
Monsters also have 5 ranks: S, A, B, C, and D.
S-Rank Monsters (Ifrit, Chimera, Dark Dragon, Dark Knight, Greater Demon, etc.): Requires top-ranked ability users or high-ranked parties to face, very rare.
A-Rank Monsters (Cerberus, Kraken, Succubus, Incubus, Death Knight, Dragon, etc.): Requires high-ranked ability users or multiple ability user parties to face, uncommon.
B-Rank Monsters (Hydra, Ogre, Minotaur, King Slime, Lich, Basilisk, etc.): Requires an ability user party to face, found deep within monster territories.
C-Rank Monsters (Mummy, Mimic, Worm, Orc, Owlbear, Lizardman, Werewolf, Troll, etc.): Requires a low-ranked party to face, quite common.
D-Rank Monsters (Skeleton, Slime, Goblin, Giant Rat, etc.): Basic monsters, frequently appear even in villages.
Monsters generally do not manifest abilities.
Ability User Guild
A place in each town within a country where ability users receive requests.
After registering their rank, they form parties and engage in activities.
