Billion Continent
The largest continent in this world, home to many countries.
Notable are the Kingdom of Asriel, the Plumatic Empire, the Coral Theocracy, the Great Nation of Shirokusa, and the Demon Lord's Magic Kingdom.
Ability
Manifests in certain individuals, with variations in characteristics and extent from person to person.
Those with manifested abilities are obligated to formally register their ability with the Holy Assembly.
The Holy Assembly ranks individuals based on their strength, regardless of the ability's inherent grade.
The ranks are S, A, B, C, and D, with the following criteria:
S-Rank Ability User: Both the ability and the user transcend human limits, existing outside of standard categories.
A-Rank Ability User: Both the ability and the user are powerful and highly experienced.
B-Rank Ability User: The ability is useful, or the user possesses considerable experience.
Most ability users reach their limit at this rank.
C-Rank Ability User: The ability is powerful but flawed, or the user has flaws.
The most basic rank.
D-Rank Ability User: Significant flaws in the user or the ability.
Holy Assembly
An organization for managing ability users, with branches in each country and operated under the leadership of Terry Arishion.
Artifact
A magical tool used by certain ability users or non-ability users.
The ability is embedded in the artifact itself, allowing it to be used.
Graded S, A, B, C, and D, with S-rank artifacts being subject to special management.
Monsters continuously appear in this world, with 70% of the cause attributed to the Demon Lord's ability in the Demon Lord's Magic Kingdom.
Monsters are also classified into five ranks: S, A, B, C, and D.
S-Rank Monsters (Ifrit, Chimera, Dark Dragon, Dark Knight, Greater Demon, etc.): Require a top-ranked ability user or high-ranked party to confront; very rare.
A-Rank Monsters (Cerberus, Kraken, Succubus, Incubus, Death Knight, Dragon, etc.): Require a high-ranked ability user or a large ability user party to confront; uncommon.
B-Rank Monsters (Hydra, Ogre, Minotaur, King Slime, Lich, Basilisk, etc.): Require an ability user party to confront; found deep within monster territories.
C-Rank Monsters (Mummy, Mimic, Worm, Orc, Owlbear, Lizardman, Werewolf, Troll, etc.): Require a low-ranked party to confront; quite common.
D-Rank Monsters (Skeleton, Slime, Goblin, Giant Rat, etc.): Basic monsters, frequently appear even in villages.
Monsters generally do not manifest abilities.
Ability User Guild
A place in each town within a country where ability users receive requests.
Users register their rank and form parties to operate.
