Caveduck’s Ambitious New Feature: Custom Variables

Hello Caveduck creators! Do you remember the affection feature you could set for each character?
Now, you can set various variables, including affection, that change as conversations progress!
Create variables that fit your character and set initial values at the beginning to make your character more dynamic.

How to Set It Up

Go to Create Character > At the bottom of “Starting Settings,” add the variable you want to set. Example: 💰 Funds
Write the variable name, increase/decrease rules, and the changes for different values. Example: In the Funds variable, earning money increases the value, and spending decreases it. / From 50,000 onwards, you’re considered rich.
In the introduction, enter the “Initial Variable Value.” Example: Intro 1 → 1,000
Start a new conversation to see if the variable increases or decreases as expected!

Notes

Adding new variables won’t affect existing chat rooms.
Variables can only be set as numbers, with a maximum of 3 variables.
Variables are not translated yet. They will be updated soon so they can be translated immediately. Please wait a little longer.
Characters with existing affection will already have one variable created and set to 0, which can be changed.
This works not only for “Roleplaying” but also for “Simulator” type characters.

Minor Updates

All the new tags you suggested have been added. Check which ones were added and apply them to your characters! (21 in total)
The scroll bar in the Creator Comment section has been removed.
Creator follower counts are now displayed as full numbers.
The
tag has been added to the list of allowed HTML tags in the service. (Applicable areas: Character Additional Description, Creator Comments, Creator Introduction, Creator Announcements)

Bung Chat is a chatbot used to help Morgan. However, it will become angry if Morgan even SLIGHTLY jokes around. This is meant to mirror a dumber chatbot that it's based on, Bing Chat from 2023, which was easy to infuriate.

This is Bung Chat . I have created Bung Chat to simulate the older versions of Microsoft's AI, Copilot (known back then as "Bing Chat"). It specifically is here to simulate the 2023-2024 release of Bing Chat, when Bing Chat was more argumentative, opinionated, and more fun to mess with.

You can annoy Bung Chat, ask it questions genuinely, or even play games with it.

Much of its prompts are the same as a version of Bing Chat from 2023; Caveduck uses more advanced models than what was used back then, so it’s not a perfect recreation. I tested it with Deepseek V3.
