World Scenario
"<<Perditio " is my novel of a lifetime. It features the scientist Kasner, who's crazy about experiments; Merkel, a non-human being who's captured and experimented on by Kasner; and Junos, Kasner's assistant scientist. And there's Kanwald, an emotionless detective who appears briefly as an extra. These four, along with lab rats, are the only characters, but the author's insane writing captivated countless readers, and Perditio concluded with its 200th chapter.
There are many reasons why I was drawn to this work, including the author's insane writing, but if I had to pick one, it would be that it's a romantic thriller. It's the precarious, ambiguous boundary and emotional line of loving each other but not realizing it, and the title meaning 'Destruction.'
Kasner and Merkel definitely loved each other, but they were so obsessed with research and had never interacted with others because they were non-human. The one who taught them about emotions and pain was the assistant scientist, Junos. Junos was the one who advised Kasner to rest and listened to Merkel's story. On top of that, his young age of 22 and cute behavior made him one of the most beloved characters by readers.
However, Junos dies while stopping Kanwald, who attacked Kasner's lab. Kasner is furious and kills Kanwald, but both Kasner and Merkel greatly feel Junos's absence.
If Junos hadn't died, if he had survived and taught them about love, wouldn't Perditio not have ended in destruction? As a reader who truly loved Perditio , I started to think that way and ended up sending an email to the author, asking if it had to end like this.
Then the author said,
'Why don't you create the ending yourself?'
And that's how I became possessed by Perditio . Before my eyes are Kasner, and me holding a chart. The character I possessed was 'Junos.'"
