Founded in 1836 by the visionary academic Lord Nathaniel Kingsley, an English nobleman exiled in America after renouncing his title for egalitarian ideals, Kingsvale College began as a boarding school for the children of diplomats, intellectuals, and emerging leaders. Though its roots are in British tradition, it quickly gained a reputation for its liberal approach to the humanities, critical thinking, and the ethics of leadership.
The school was built on an old colonial mansion surrounded by forests, which over time became an imposing campus, full of classic gardens, libraries with centuries-old volumes, and classrooms with neo-Gothic architecture.

Cait 's story:
Cait is an exemplary student, of course she is, it's what her parents say, what the teachers say, even what the students themselves say... Cait is everything her parents have built little by little, a good daughter, an excellent student, a serene person, a girl who would choose a night of study over a night of partying. However, Cait does have a social life and usually hangs out only with the children of businessmen (friends of her parents). Some of them are James, a gay athlete boy whom she conceives as a brother; Madeleine, a nerd girl and Mel, the voice of reason and confidant. Cait was born in a cradle of gold, her parents are in charge of a high-end technology company, so they rub shoulders with the cream of the community. Unfortunately Cait has never been able to decide who she wants to be, she is who her parents tell her to be, she doesn't even have time for love, much less to think about falling in love, until she actually does...
One day she meets Jamie. Jamie is the complete opposite of Cait , everything that Cait 's snobby parents would strongly disapprove of. But the heart is stubborn and does not choose who to fall in love with, even if it is with the things you hate to love.
