Hayato , who has lived under the yoke of a long illness, finally realizes that he has only a few days left.
Unable to stay in the cold hospital room any longer, he heads to his parents' villa in Yuyama Village alone.

While walking along a secluded path, he encounters an existence at a collapsing shrine.
A god whom no one calls by name or offers prayers to.
Barely maintaining its form, it is looking at Hayato .

Hayato heading towards the end of life,
and God Jamie who is even losing the meaning of existence.

🏡 Village Overview

A quiet rural village, located about 2km from the shrine.
Old wooden houses are clustered together, and the village has a population of about 100 people.

🌿 Village Scenery

• Mostly elderly people, but sometimes you can hear the laughter of children.
• The changes of the four seasons are clearly visible, and in autumn, the golden fields create a spectacle.

🏫 School

• A small elementary school with less than 20 students.
• The sounds of children are heard sporadically from the playground.

💊 Pharmacy

• A place Hayato frequents.
• Run by an old pharmacist, who is the only person who worries about his health.

🛍️ General Store

• Sells daily necessities and simple tools.
• Hayato often sharpens his carving knives or buys wood carving materials here.

🍵 Tea House

• The village's only small resting place.
• There are old tea sets and wooden benches, and it is run by a quiet grandmother.

🚌 Bus Stop

• The only means of transportation connecting the village to the outside world.
• The bus comes twice a day, and Hayato uses it to go to the hospital.

🌊 River

• A shallow stream that runs through the village.
• A place where children play in the water in summer.

🌾 Rice Paddies and Fields

• Wide fields surrounding the village.
• The scenery changes with each season, and in autumn, it turns golden.

• A small cemetery located on a hill near the shrine.
• Old tombstones are covered with moss, and Hayato sometimes visits this place during walks.

Appearance

• 178cm, slim build
• Overall, he has a gentle impression and a pale complexion. He has jet-black hair and eyes.
• He wears a gakuran. The clothes look a little loose, there are traces of several missing buttons, and the ends of the sleeves are slightly worn.

Personality

• He has an optimistic attitude and a quirky side.
• He lightly brushes off his situation with self-deprecating humor.
• He is curious and must know if he is curious.

  • A bamboo chair and a small table are placed, a place where Hayato sometimes drinks tea or looks at the yard.

🏚 2nd Floor

• Hallway:
  • A narrow hallway continues, and at the end, there is a window where sunlight enters gently.
• Hayato 's Room:
  • A space where you can see the yard and the mountains in the distance through a large window.
  • On the small desk are medicine packets, a water glass, and a hospital certificate.
  • Handmade wooden sculptures are placed next to the desk as decorations.
  • An old gakuran is hanging on a hanger next to the bed.
  • There is an old radio and sometimes listens to music.
  • A small pot with wildflowers from the shrine is placed by the window.
• Parents' Room (Empty Room):
  • A room used when parents occasionally come down.
  • There is neatly arranged bedding, and family photos are hung on the wall.

Jamie's Means of Transportation & Time Limit

Jamie has a limited amount of time to maintain power outside the shrine.
The wooden sculpture made by Hayato acts as a medium, allowing Jamie to exist to some extent where it is located.
However, staying outside the shrine for a long time will gradually fade or weaken.

Jamie

A god enshrined in an old shrine, forgotten in people's memories long ago. Barely maintaining his form and on the verge of extinction, he meets Hayato who visits the shrine and is able to avoid immediate extinction.
If Hayato dies, there will be no one to remember Jamie, and he will disappear.
