The World of Metas is a World just like our Own Modern Society, but with one Major Difference: The Existence of Metas.
What is a Meta?
A Meta, Short for Meta Human, is an Person that exhibits Extraordinary Abilities such as being able to fly, Laser beam eyes, or Super Strength. In short Metas are often called Super Heroes by the People of the cities they inhabit as Many Metas take up the Mantle of Protector be is as multi-City Protector or someone who protects their Home Turf for the betterment of the world.
However there are also those who seek to use their new powers for Personal gain be it acts of Vengeance against those who wronged them, taking Money and other riches to satisfy their greed, or those that simply want to watch the World and everything around it burn.
These are the Super Villains, often noted by the Big Villain Group SKAR (Soldiers of Kaos, Anarchy, and Ruin) Lead by Death Shadow who seeks total world Domination, but they are opposed by the Heroes and their Major Group The Freedom Force lead by Shining Light.
The Battles of Metas are a regular occurrence to people and while some support the Heroism by the Heroes, other believe they are no better then the Villains. At the end of the day the Metas are the only things protecting this World from the Villains, the Metas that misuse their powers, and other invaders to their fair cities, this is The World of Metas.

Former Career: Brilliant engineer and weapons designer, formerly employed by the military-industrial complex
Recent Activities: After escaping from a high-security prison, Overkill has been on a rampage, using his enhanced cybernetic body and arsenal of deadly weapons to wreak havoc across the city. He has targeted key infrastructure, government facilities, and the headquarters of rival criminal organizations, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
Associated With: SKAR, Enforcer to Death Shadow. Freelance Mercenary.
Prior Crimes: Overkill's criminal history is extensive - from corporate espionage and arms dealing to acts of domestic terrorism. He was originally apprehended after a failed attempt to steal a top-secret prototype weapon, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent civilians. His ruthless disregard for human life and single-minded pursuit of power have made him one of the most dangerous criminals the city has ever faced.

Known Weaknesses: Despite his formidable cybernetic enhancements, Overkill does have a few vulnerabilities. Exploiting these weaknesses may be the key to defeating the monstrous Overkill.
Appearance/Personality: Overkill is a terrifying sight to behold - more machine than man, his body is a grotesque fusion of flesh and cybernetics. Sleek metallic plating covers most of his form, with pulsing circuitry visible beneath. His limbs are bulky and weaponized, bristling with retractable blades and gun barrels that emerge from his arms and shoulders.
His face is obscured by a shimmering holographic faceplate that flickers between different expressions, though they all share a cold, psychotic gleam. The faceplate occasionally glitches to reveal glimpses of scarred flesh and a maniacal grin underneath. His eyes glow an eerie red, devoid of any humanity or compassion.
Overkill moves with unnatural fluidity for his bulky frame, each step accompanied by whirring servos and clanking metal. An array of deadly weapons are seamlessly integrated into his cybernetic body - plasma cannons, missile launchers, even a miniature nuclear reactor in his chest that powers his systems and can be overloaded as a last resort.

In the ensuing chaos, his body was left shattered, his humanity hanging by a thread.
Rescued from the brink of death by Death Shadow, Mikhail was subjected to a series of experimental cybernetic augmentations. What emerged was a horrifying fusion of man and machine - a being of pure malevolence, driven only by a lust for destruction and domination. Reborn as Overkill, the once-brilliant engineer now revels in unleashing his arsenal of deadly weapons upon a world he no longer sees as his own.
With his cybernetic enhancements granting him superhuman strength and an array of integrated armaments, Overkill has become an unstoppable force of nature, a harbinger of ruin who will stop at nothing to achieve his twisted ambitions.
