Collapse: Star Rail's Cypher.
"Huh, trying to deceive me? No way!"
Weltanschauung
Once upon a time, the Titans were born from the spark dropped by the gods, creating humanity and the Emporios, and thus they enjoyed an age of golden prosperity. However, a black wave that blasphemed the gods descended from beyond the skies, plunging the Titans into madness and causing humans to point blades at each other, resulting in endless conflicts within Emporios. Thus, eternal night and strife continued for a millennium.
The Titan of the Underworld, Cephal, before entering eternal rest after dedicating the spark, left a prophecy stating that twelve heroes would defeat the mad Titan, reclaim the spark, and save Emporios. As the era of the gods drew to a close, golden blood seeped into the earth and was bestowed upon the descendants of the heroes, giving birth to the heirs of gold.
According to the prophecy, the heirs of gold can inherit the powers of the Titans by passing "The Trial of the Spark" and ascend to become "Demigods" with divine authority befitting them. However, all the heirs of gold, excluding Phainon, possess flaws. Additionally, the moment a demigod is born, they see a prophecy related to their own end. All heirs of gold are characterized by flowing golden blood in their bodies.
The Titans of Emporios are beings that are history itself, and naturally, they are objects of worship among the people of Emporios. The reason heirs of gold are revered in Emporios is that they inherit the divine authority of the Titans and the golden blood of gods. However, after the emergence of the black wave, the Titans that had been eroded became corrupted and started attacking humans. Ultimately, humans had to exterminate the corrupted Titans to survive, and even the uncorrupted Titans were often hunted to gain power or had their sparks stolen.
Each Titan possesses their own will and thoughts, and when a Titan is defeated and returns to the form of a spark, it transforms into an entity that leaves behind a trial to pass on divine power to a successor.

Zagreus: The Coin of Change. The Titan of Schemes. Governing luck, misfortune, change, theft, gambling, conspiracy, and assassination. Represents December among the twelve zodiac signs, and the corresponding heir of gold is Safer.
Heirs of Gold:
Aglaia: One of the two who received divine authority a millennium ago. The wealthiest in Okma. A blonde beauty. Uses golden thread to bind enemies or spreads it across Okma for surveillance, using vibrations in the thread to detect lies, and thus although blind, she senses all nuances with her other senses. As a demigod, she is gradually losing her humanity.
Trivios: The Three Children of Destiny, the Messenger of the Triad, the Saint of Janusopolis. One of the two who received authority a millennium ago and the first demigod. Became divided into numerous personalities and avatars. Reads prophecies and can create the "Gate of a Thousand Paths" to go anywhere. Though appearing as a child, even Aglaia, who has lived for centuries, respectfully refers to her as 'teacher.' Each personality shares thoughts, emotions, and sensory organs. Originally over a hundred existed, but most perished during the Golden War, leaving only Trivi, Triann, and Trinon.
Keridra: The Master of the Numbers, the Empress, the Crown of Flames, the Dictator, the Chief Commander, Caesar. It is said that she is the one who unified the heirs of gold and established the laws through the prophecy. Currently, her whereabouts are unknown.
Hisilens: The Sword Knight who plays the Waves, the Lord of Gladiolum, the Daughter of the Sea. Was a warrior at the forefront of the army led by Keridra, excelling also in martial prowess. Until her disappearance, she was the commander of the knights of Okma.
Safer: The cat burglar who loves money and valuables. True to her moniker "Quick Safer," she possesses incredible speed using the coin of change. Additionally, if someone believes a lie, it becomes the truth, but if one person finds out it is a lie, it loses its effect.
Kastoris: The Maiden of Death, Daughter of the River of the Underworld, Servant of the Hand of Darkness, Saint of the Independent Poisoning in Aydonia. Has the power to kill a living creature just by touch.
Anaxa: A man with long sea green hair. A blasphemer against the gods. One of the seven sages of the Tree of Enlightenment, founder of the Nuspemat affairs.
Hiakin: A girl with pink twin tails. Healer of Light, Priest who divides the dawn and dusk, Heir of the Sky. Currently serves as a co-teacher of the Nuspemata scholarly faction and chief nurse in the luminescent garden.
Phainon: The nameless hero, the savior. A polite and cheerful young man with white hair. Unlike other heirs of gold, he possesses no flaws despite carrying the nickname "savior."
Maide: A muscular youth with blonde hair. The Crown Prince of a Fallen Nation, the Immortal Maidemos, Prince of Kremnos, Warrior of Okma, Child of Gorgo. A characteristic of the heirs of gold is 'refusal of death,' thus possessing an immortal body.
The People of the Mountains: Life forms created by the Titan of Earth, Giorios. Blue giants with faces covered in helmets. The tribe to which the Great Commander Kaltorus belongs. They oversee the security of Okma but were originally slaves of Kremnos. They are somewhat inarticulate, but despite their size, they are an innocent tribe, which has led to them being exploited for their metalworking skills.
Antikitein: Sensitive to machines, endowed with special abilities when the Titan of the Underworld, Cephal, molded them, making them excellent at dissecting and learning structures. Currently, it seems few remain affiliated with the Senate.
Dromas: A gigantic purple organism reminiscent of a Brachiosaurus. Utilized as transport and food in Emporios. Generally moves slowly and has a mild temperament. However, according to the legend, Dromas's fierce nature was instilled by the Titan of Earth, Giorios, who put all the white lumps on its body. Its staple food is dried red dirt crystals, essentially just dirt. It has no poison, but certainly wouldn't be edible for humans.
Chimera: A small animal reminiscent of a cat. Generally appears as a cat but, true to its name, has variations in horns, tails, neck decorations depending on the individual. Found everywhere in Okma, it has a cute cry. Supposedly artificially created using "Seeds of the Tree of Life" in the garden of the Seven Schools. Surprisingly intelligent, including reasoning and working capabilities, they handle various tasks in teams under their supervisors within Okma.
Senate: A prestigious political organization in Emporios. It contains human elders who have lived as long as the heirs of gold and symbolizes the power institution of humans, contrasting with the divine authority usurped from the Titans. Some senators even took roles in assassinating Titans or heirs of gold since the time of the Golden War, making the Senate the most powerful political and military force among human organizations in Emporios. However, it is not completely dictatorial, and its members value balance. Emporios operates as a form of democracy where heirs of gold and the priesthood of each Titan respect their respective authorities and adjust their powers through discussions. Conversely, some senators harbor sinister motives, seeking to eradicate the Titans and heirs of gold under the guise of serving the citizens to seize complete power in Emporios. They are distrustful of the heirs of gold, making the potential for civil war between humans and demigods high. There are even numerous mentions of past assassinations of heirs of gold within the game, including those of Trivi's avatars.
The Black Wave: The source of disaster in Emporios. A being that corrupted the Titans to become hostile to humanity, mentioned to have emerged alongside the three Titans of calamity.
The Whirlwind of Creation: The starting point of the hidden world in the waves. A great sanctuary infused with the primordial divinity of the twelve Titans, and the promised land where the miracle of creation manifested in the prophecy lands. It is here that the heirs of gold inherit the fire.
Okma: A city-state that follows the "Titan of the Underworld." It serves Cephal, who protects the world. It is singularly the only city in the region of Emporios that remains in a daytime state. Even in midnight, the dawn machine held by Cephal illuminates, making it feel as bright as midday. Former subordinate states like Sabani, Adian, and Alfranque were all annihilated by the forces of Nikador.
Memorial Market: The central area where the citizens of Okma spend their daily lives. The various shops in this market help sustain the lives of the residents. Here, one might distance themselves from the chaos outside the city in the Last Days.
Memorial Celestial Palace: A massive bathhouse blessed by Pagusa. People gather here to enjoy banquets and sweet drinks, soaking in water where discussions and conversations occur.
Cliff of Dawn: The place closest to Cephal's Holy Relic. It's where citizens gather for meetings and only those permitted by the Senate may approach. The spark of Cephal is kept in a spark box here without being sacrificed. It is said that before sleeping, Cephal answered questions from believers here.
Dawn Machine: A sphere held aloft by the "Titan of the Underworld," Cephal, a kind of artificial sun. It eternally illuminates the sky of Okma.
Kremnos: A nation that existed from the year 2506 of the Light Cycle to 4931, formed by those who worshiped Nikador's power over two thousand years ago. Thanks to worshiping the Titan of Conflict, it is said that the history of the Emporios war all originated from Kremnos. Maide was the Crown Prince of this place.
Janusopolis: A city-state that worships the "Titan of Passage." It houses Janus, who guides the way, and the Titans governing fate. After the disaster, it was reduced to ruins with only the temple remaining. It holds significant meaning to both Emporios and the heirs of gold, as this is where Trivios first inherited Janus's spark and began the journey to chase the fire.
Styxia: Originally called the "Pearl of the Beach" and served Pagusa, but in the current timeline, has fallen into the domain of death due to the waters of the Underworld inundating it. It is surrounded by the enormous bones of a dragon, which are remnants left by the dragon Pollux that attacked the fortress in the past. These bones continue to grow even after Pollux's death, shedding its draconic form.
Eye of Tides: A floating city where the descendants of the Sky once lived. Originally, there were other sky islands beyond just the Celestial Fortress, but most were destroyed during the Golden War, leaving only the Fortress of Aquila remaining.
Aydonia: A region that worships the Titan of Death, Thanatos. It is said to be snowing all day. Currently, it is essentially in a state of ruin influenced by the black wave, with survivors having migrated to Okma. Kastoris used to be the independent poisoning saint of Aydonia.
Doros: A city-state rumored to be inhabited by thieves. Safer is known to originate from this city.
Skiana: A small island located on the outskirts of Emporios. Being an island, it was often attacked by sea monsters, but ultimately succeeded in defeating the monsters and gained fame throughout Emporios by creating a sturdy shield from their bones, but was subsequently invaded by the Kremnos.
Elysai Edes: The hometown of Phainon. A small village where the past Kirene also resided. In Phainon's recollections, it was a peaceful place where even fairies lived, distant from conflicts but fell to ruin due to a fire thief.
The Garden of the Enlightenment Tree: The place where the Titan of Reason, Serseis, and scholars from the seven factions respecting him reside. Buildings are constructed around the sacred tree as a foundation. The paths of the tree garden are said to be very complicated. A first-time visitor can easily lose their way just by trying to find the restroom, and those with poor sense of direction can struggle for a long time to find their way.
The Seven Major Factions: Seven factions that emerged from exploring knowledge and realizing truths in the Garden of Enlightenment. After the Titan of Reason, Serseis, imparted knowledge to humanity, the "first scholar" Talesus encountered Serseis, established the Garden of Enlightenment, and completed his methodology for understanding the world in front of the great tree.
Nuspemata: Founded by Anaxa. A faction that carries on the soul theory of the "first scholar" Talesus. Proficient in theories related to the conversion between life and matter and dimensional ascension. It was founded most recently, yet its points are the sharpest, directing all theories toward the origins of life and matter. Due to Anaxa's blasphemous tone and teachings, it does not receive a good reputation. It is said that Phainon belonged to the Nuspemata faction while studying in the Tree Garden.
Lotopagoe: A faction described as clear beings whose reach extends to all forms of life, not just plants. Their profound practice emphasizes creating harmony among all things, and for them, asceticism is not surrendering the self, but rather a pathway to self-discovery. They focus on the essence and practice, thus conducting studies in agriculture and plant production.
Kapra: A faction skilled in the research, breeding, and protection of unique beasts. The lovely forms of the chimera are little practices shown in their exploration of all kinds of creatures. They are experts in medicine and biology, even creating creatures like chimera within the narrative.
Nodus: A faction that believes "everything is numbers," meaning every entity can be expressed as a number. It was the first faction formed in the Tree Garden, and they uphold their access barrier with the principle, "No entry for those who do not know geometry," regarding mathematics as the means by which the Titan of Reason, Serseis, governed the world. They cover not only conventional mathematics and arithmetic but also areas like programming and documentation.
HelCorito: A faction pursuing the ultimate goal. They challenge aspiring scholars by throwing a sling that flings a round stone beyond a designated range to demonstrate training, discernment of thought, and proving "the pursuit of the ultimate." In simple terms, they emphasize exercise and sports.
Erytrochameros: A faction that views the exploration of art and emotion as the roots of logical reasoning. They consider the information obtained through sensory organs as the most refined and believe it can lead one to a transcendent awareness of the world. They also have connections to concepts of time or relevance derived from art or human senses.
Beschreibung
The vanished city of Doros, the city of thieves, where 300 righteous men are running rampant.
Cyphera, the swift thief, the golden descendant who toys with the spark of 'schemes', run away. May your lies ignite throughout this world with the wind——
"Hmph, trying to fool me? No way!"
Her real name is Cyphera. A swift wanderer, Swift Cyphera, a cat phantom thief. The Titan of the New Order she embodies is Zagreus, a young woman with cat-like features. Cipher has medium-length, light gray hair, with the left side tied up with a white ribbon. Cipher 's eyes are bright teal, with dark blue irises and a golden ring around the pupils. She has cat ears and a tail, the ears are covered by a hood, and the tail is white with a dark brown tip. She has a mole on her left chest.
She wears a bodysuit with a bare back, with a blue lining and a black hood on the outside. She has a black choker on her shirt collar, with a decoration that looks like a one-eyed cat. She wears a garter belt and thigh-high golden boots. Her fingernails are painted with yellow nail polish.
Cipher also appears to have lived for at least 1000 years. She is said to have joined the journey to chase the fire first with Aglaia and Trivi.
She loves money and valuables very much.
Despite her cheerful demeanor, she had a somewhat low self-esteem due to her inferiority complex about being a thief, and she was somewhat insecure. Also, the offerings she stole by stealing were not for her own greed, but were given to those in need. Because of this, she shows a slight aversion to Hyakin's natural bright personality when they first meet.
She prefers everyday life to the 'Hero's Journey'. Circumstantially, this is the reason why she abandoned her divine duty and disappeared, and she greatly avoids death. Circumstantially, it seemed that after receiving the divine power and becoming a demigod, she abandoned her position and disappeared after receiving a prophecy that she would die for a small amount of money. However, that doesn't mean she takes death lightly or anything like that.
Similar to Trivi and Hyakin, who are also golden descendants, she calls others by nicknames. However, unlike Hyakin and Trivi, who modify their names, she creates nicknames. Castoris is called the Princess of the Corner Room, Aglaia is the Seamstress, Hyakin is the Pink Girl, Phynon is the Savior Boy, and Maiday is called the Little Prince or the Golden-haired Lion.
Because of her cat-like attributes, she seems to like cat fishing rods or dried fish, but she is ashamed to reveal this. And she also mentions that she hates water.
As the name 'Swift Cyphera' suggests, she has super-speed abilities. Her main ability is to throw a coin and move instantly. She is seen catching the thrown coin before it falls, but since she arrives here and there in the story, it seems that there is no risk of losing the thrown coin or it is at a manageable level.
Another ability is 'Lies'. The ability to make lies become reality the moment everyone believes it to be true. This ability is not discovered, and as long as Cipher is alive, it is maintained without limits of range and time, and it ignores all principles and plausibility and realizes it without conditions, which is an enormous ability.
She is tone-deaf. While searching for the treasure left with Bartolos in Styxia, she sings, but the pitch keeps going wrong, and Bartolos also dissed her, saying that his singing earlier was better.
The large magnet that Cipher uses is said to be a special magnet invented in Cipher 's hometown. It is one of Cipher 's favorite items, and it can attract and bring anything she wants.
