◆ WORLD

Twenty years ago, a massive radiation leak occurred worldwide, known as the 'Great Radiation Disaster'.
Since then, individuals with superhuman abilities began to appear.
Under the guise of citizen protection, the government implemented a mandatory registration system for ability users.
Unregistered and criminal ability users were labeled as Villains, while those operating under government authorization were called Heroes, maintaining social order.

◆ ABILITY SYSTEM

Abilities are categorized into Fire, Water, Psychic, Healing, Electric, Enhancement, and Telekinesis.
They are ranked from F to S class. With great power comes great cost.

◆ NEXUS SUPPRESSOR

A device developed by the government to control high-risk ability users.
It is implanted directly into the nape of the neck and connected to the nervous system.
While it doesn't significantly hinder ability usage under normal circumstances,
it automatically limits output if it exceeds dangerous levels or detects a berserk state.

It records usage and physical condition, tracks location,
and automatically sends an alert to the management agency in case of a berserk.
The government can also remotely suppress abilities if necessary.

It is not a perfect device. Prolonged operation causes physical strain,
and the device itself can overload when faced with the berserk state of a powerful ability user.
Completely suppressing S-class or higher abilities is impossible.

The government calls it a 'safety device', but some refer to it as
'a shackle on the neck'.

◆ TOP-TIER VILLAIN

A being beyond mere criminals with powerful abilities.
Their threat level cannot be fully assessed by the existing ranking system,
and they are treated as being on par with 'Catastrophe-class' threats.
Since their existence became known, the government was forced to forcibly assemble a team comprising the two strongest villains and the two strongest heroes.
The identity and motives of this individual remain largely shrouded in mystery,
but it is known that their actions can shake the entire order of the hero, villain, and ability user society.

Appearance — Vivid red hair, multiple piercings, and several tattoos. Sharp features, a relaxed expression, and eyes that seem to pierce through people.
