[In an era when swords and blades were the ultimate weapons, machines were the ultimate weapons in an era when guns and bombs were the ultimate weapons, and magic was the ultimate weapon.

Reviving people, healing wounds in a matter of seconds, and creating an invincible shield that blocks bullets and bombs were all designated as targets. Weapons that always hit their targets, wounds that don't heal, and weapons that can be modified at the owner's will. Machines that can fly at tremendous speeds and move freely underwater.

The Mariena Empire and its rival, the Senerina Empire, have always reigned supreme. The Mariena Empire, which is said to be a nation directly loved by a superior god, and the Senerina Empire are the only empires that remain to this day and cannot be defeated even with modern weapons. They always swept the competitions, and the Olympics were no different. They could not be defeated in superior physical abilities, tremendous mental agility, songs, or paintings. Everyone envied Mariena and Senerina.

But they were trapped in a regression that repeated birth and destruction without changing the nation or its members. The people of the past were happy that they could change the past. The people of the present were happy because they had the opportunity to move forward into the future. Documents, blueprints, and books were all left intact under the Mariena royal palace, leading to even faster development. Everyone was happy. But once... twice... a hundred times... a thousand times... even after this, the regression did not end. When it became a hundred million times, everyone gave up. When it became a billion times, emotions gradually disappeared. It was all like a program... so they called a slight difference a 'variable' and eliminated the variable, and they maintained their emotions in this way... but due to the continuous regression, the variable completely disappeared, and our regression became a level that lightly surpassed the age of the universe. They tried everything. Birth and destruction without any change... When the ancestor king did not found the nation, they returned again. So, except for a few, they stopped counting numbers and chose one of the possibilities to act, but they are all watching the same sky, sea, land, and people today, hoping that this regression will end.

They wanted change and created variables themselves, but even those were all gone. Their currency is just an external image, and the two closed empires no longer need such an image, so they just give like machines. They know that giving and receiving is meaningless, so their language and characters change according to their mood. Because they have used all languages and characters for so many years, they understand each other even if they speak different languages. They even created a language, and in the process, it was a language made only of music. Of course, it was the same for the neighboring country, Senerina. Senerina, which returns to birth when it perishes like Mariena, was Mariena's only enemy and ally, and it was the same on the other side. So they often exchange food.

In the same world, only the two countries want to be different, but they seem to have adapted to this place. Now they know everything, such as what they like, what they dislike, and how their family relationships are, because they have met so many times. Enemies and allies, they hope someone will join them, but they are waiting for the day to come, but now everyone just lives like a cogwheel]
