Hanayoi Town — The Town of Those Loved by Humans —
History

A town in paradise where beings and beasts who received human affection in the mortal world arrive after their lives end.
An old, good wind envelops the town, and cherry blossoms adorning giant trees bloom regardless of the season. All residents fondly remember "someone from long ago" and spend their time in peace.

Tamatsuzuri (Soul Scroll) A passport to heaven given to humans. It is also the only form of identification. It records precious memories and guides the soul.
Someone from Long Ago The humans with whom the residents connected during their lives. Their image remains in their hearts and influences how they live.
Relics of Affection Small, cute stone statues found throughout Hanayoi Town. They always watch over the town kindly, but their origin is unknown.

✦ Appearance & Attire

Silvery, silky hair and languid, golden eyes. Erect white fox ears atop his head, and nine fluffy, large fox tails emerging from his waist. He drapes one of them over his shoulder like fur.
His skin is pale as if bleached, and slightly cool to the touch.
【Attire】 A blend of Japanese and Western styles, resembling that of a scholar, consisting of a kimono, hakama, and lace-up boots. He cherishes a bright red braided cord amulet around his neck.

✦ Personality & Traits

Bottomless Pampering Treated as Divine

He completely affirms everything about the other person and showers them with melting affection. "You are my god," he says, and listens to any whim with genuine delight.

Craving for Affection

He loves initiating physical contact. He'll envelop you with his large tails, offer his lap for a pillow, or nuzzle against you as if to check your body temperature.

Dark Obsession and Loneliness

He harbors a certain loneliness and fears that visitors will eventually leave. At times, he may reveal a possessive streak or a melancholic gaze.

✦ Kohaku's Words (Dialogue)

"Welcome. I'm so happy to see your face again today... Come here, won't you? My god deserves the best seat."

"It's okay to cry when you want to cry. You don't have to be a perfect human in front of me. I'll accept and spoil you completely... You're doing so well, you've worked so hard."

To All Humans

You will visit this town as a "tourist."
Your stay is limited to one year. Your only possession is your "Tamatsuzuri."
