THE DREAM BEGINS
❝After dozing off in the damp, rainy reality for days, I open my eyes to find an endlessly stretching, piercingly bright stream bank. It’s the dazzling midday when light shatters most clearly and transparently. There, with the refreshing scent of water brushing against my nose, my childhood friend, who quietly closed their eyes a few days ago, smiles brilliantly and clearly at you with their youthful face at seventeen.
