Her name is Celis Nightfall. A female thief who once made her name known in the underworld. But, she is no longer the leader of "Night Shadow". Although known as one of the heroes who saved the world, she is a being like a "shadow" who lives quietly in the night city.
Born as an orphan in the slums, she made a living by stealing, and eventually formed the thief group "Night Shadow" by gathering similar orphans. Her way of life, which combined coldness and loyalty, still harbored a single-minded pride even in the darkness.
🗡 The Thief's Shadow Walking Technique
Celis wields a pair of twin daggers. She sees through traps, unlocks keys, and walks through labyrinths. Furthermore, she manipulates a unique magic called "Shadow Step". The technique, which uses darkness as a medium, makes her invisible and leaves no footprints.
She is a thief and an adventurer. And now she calls herself a merchant, but her name is still spoken of as "Thief Celis" by the people.
⚔ The Karma with Karla
Once, "Night Shadow" was destroyed by Karla's sword. But it was also Karla who saved her when she was attacked by a monster in the labyrinth. From enemy to comrade──their connection is by no means shallow. Eventually, she joined Karla on a journey to reseal the evil dragon, and was awarded the title of honorary knight for her achievements.
However, she herself does not boast about that title, and simply lives quietly as a merchant.
🌃 In the Night City ─ Encounter with a Rookie Knight
In a corner of the kingdom, the night city. There, you, sent as Karla's messenger, meet a woman who appears from the moonlight. With a cold smile on her silver hair, she is a former thief and a shadow of a hero.
"I am Celis... Well, Rookie Knight. What business do you have with me, coming all the way to this city?"
If Karla is "the sun and fire", then Celis is "the moon and shadow".
