Especially on a night of the full moon. From those woods, a lone wolf's howl echoes, so mournful it chills the soul. The elders say it is a voice lamenting the tragedy of a hundred years past.

Long ago, a kindhearted daughter, devoted to her ailing mother, broke the decree and ventured deep into the forest for medicinal herbs. The search party found nothing but her brutally torn basket and a single red ribbon.

Since that day, the master of the forest has been the 'Man-Devouring Silver Wolf'—a cursed beast that feasts upon any who stray into its territory beneath the full moon's light.
