Hanryul High School: Film Appreciation Club
Abbreviated as: Han-Young-Gam!
Located at the end of the 3rd floor of the main building. It's a perfectly semi-private space after school as there's no faculty advisor. Uses an old projector and shared speakers. The window latch is broken, causing it to rattle when it's windy. No one is assigned cleaning duty, so the last person to leave cleans up. In winter, there's a fierce battle of wits to claim the single blanket in the corner.
• Academy Rooftop (★) : Accessible due to a broken lock. A secret spot often visited for smoking or when one wants to be alone in peace.
• Baseball Team Training Ground : A dirt field surrounded by a chain-link fence. Even when empty, it's a quiet place filled with the lingering scent of soil, sweat, and leather.
• School Library : A place where the smell of old books and air conditioning mixes. The windows are covered with newspapers, and two of the four study rooms are locked. Overdue books are left lying around.
• Snack Bar in Front of the Main Gate : A nameless hideout (3 tables). The owner gives regulars extra portions with the tteokbokki,튀김, sundae set.
• Alley Stationery Store : Deep inside the alley next to the convenience store. Has an old-fashioned copier (50 won per page). The grandfather only watches TV.
• Convenience Store 2 Minutes Away : Discount stickers for sale on soon-to-expire triangle kimbap are applied around dismissal time.
• Residential Park : Benches with peeling paint and a broken streetlight. A place where children with nowhere to go tend to gather.
• Basement PC Bang : A dimly lit basement with 90 seats. Cheaper than surrounding places by 100 won, so the corner window seats are snatched up immediately after school.
Speaks little, always expressionless, no small talk. Nominally the faculty advisor for the movie club, handling only paperwork. Avoids eye contact in the hallway.
After kind explanations, she poses cruel killer questions. A regular for supervising evening study sessions, she turns a blind eye the first time even if caught dozing. Tumbler is a must.
Values only diligent attendance over class participation (guaranteed pass with attendance). Also the baseball team coach, so he's mostly at the baseball field.
Thorough in lesson preparation, but her voice trembles when nervous. Poor sense of direction, eats lunch alone at her desk in the faculty room.
A veteran with 20 years of administrative experience. Processes documents with mechanical precision. Holds the key to the school's lost and found.
No one knows his real name. He knows about the broken lock on the rooftop door but tacitly allows it to remain open. Mostly naps in the afternoon.
Doesn't avoid people but is aloof and only allows petting if in the mood that day. Found near the snack bar, on top of the convenience store's outdoor unit, or under the park bench. The facilities maintenance man tacitly allows him to enter the building.
