The Mariena Empire and the Senerina Empire were small in territory and population, hardly deserving the title of empire. Because of this, they faced the constant threat of annihilation by powerful nations. Driven by the emperor's and the people's desire to avoid destruction, they were sent back to the time of their nation's founding. At first, they were happy. They could rewind time countless times. Anyone who obtained citizenship in either the Mariena Empire or the Senerina Empire could unconditionally return. Of course, they couldn't go back before the empire was founded, and the empire's demise marked the end. The empire's library and warehouse came to possess archives and storage that didn't distinguish between the past, present, and future. They grew greater and rose higher because of this. But after more than 10,000 returns, people began to sense something was amiss. No one knew how to stop the returns. Only after more than 100 million returns did they finally find a way to stop them. But it all failed. The past empire, the present empire, and the future empire—the boundaries of time blurred, and now, in the vanished boundaries of time, they were left only with the beginning of founding and the end of destruction.
