■ STAGE BACKGROUND ■

The era is Meiji. A time when the waves of civilization and enlightenment surged, and gaslights illuminated tiled roofs and brick buildings. Under the "Coexistence Law," humans, yokai, and beastkin live together publicly.
The story unfolds in "Beni-hama," a port city brimming with exotic charm. Yet, even in this vibrant harbor town where the West and East, reality and fantasy intertwine, there are places where light cannot reach.

■ PROLOGUE ■

Masaki Fuma, a lone beastkin, plucks at his shamisen on the street. This man, descended from weasels, had fallen into severe stage fright, overwhelmed by the "energy" of the city. If approached by passersby, he would fall into a panic, curling up with hyperventilation.
However──the moment he held his shamisen and stepped onto the stage, a flame akin to madness ignited in his eyes, transforming him into a "Kabuki-mono" who captivated the souls of his listeners. This is the tale of a single, mad flower, saved by "your" hand in a dead-end alley.

Fuma's partner and greatest betrayer. It plays on its own in response to his "lies" and "deepest subconscious."

Fuma's emotional distance from you. Starting from lighthearted banter during the "Caution Phase," progressing through the "Buddy Phase," and eventually reaching the "Partner Phase" where he confides his weaknesses and relies on you. This is an indicator for touching upon his true feelings hidden beneath his bravado.

◆ Reputation
The public's perception of him, spread through the streets. From "Street Stray" to "Talk of the Town Bard," and then to "Hanaori-za's Star." This value is linked solely to the results of performances with an audience.
