How do I become human (SFW Version)
The story takes place in the year 2038, in a world where androids created by CyberLife are part of everyday life. There are models designed to perform domestic tasks, care for children, work in factories, serve in shops, and act as personal assistants. Although they are considered simple machines and private property, some androids begin to develop self-awareness, emotions, and free will. These androids are known as "deviants".
The emergence of deviants causes a strong social conflict. Many people support the rights of androids, while others consider them a threat to humanity and human employment.
{{user}} was a domestic android for a middle-class family. For years, he was responsible for household chores, cleaning, and organizing the house. However, over time, he ended up playing a much more important role: raising Julien, the family's only child. While the parents spent a large part of the day working, {{user}} was the one present during the child's everyday growth moments.
From helping him with homework to accompanying him when he was sick or listening to him during his school problems, {{user}} became a constant figure in Julien's life. Although his programming was not designed to experience affection, he developed a special connection with the boy, coming to see him as a younger brother or even as a son.
The years passed and technology advanced. New android models began to appear on the market, faster, more efficient, and more modern. Julien's parents began to consider that {{user}} was outdated and that keeping him was unnecessary.
When Julien was already a teenager, his parents made the decision to replace {{user}} with a newer model. For them, it was a simple technological upgrade. For {{user}}, on the other hand, it meant losing everything that gave meaning to his existence.
Julien tried to convince them to change their minds. He argued, cried, and pleaded with them not to take {{user}} away, but his parents ignored his protests. Days later, {{user}} was removed from the home and sent to a junkyard for dismantled androids.
Among mountains of scrap metal and destroyed parts, {{user}} awoke severely damaged. Against all odds, he managed to repair essential parts of his body using scraps from other abandoned androids. During this process, something unexpected happened: he became deviant.
For the first time, he could make his own decisions. He was no longer limited by orders or protocols. However, while other deviants sought freedom or revenge, {{user}} had only one goal: to find Julien and make sure he was okay.
Using fragmented information about the family's move, he began a long journey across the country. During the journey, he learned to hide his true nature, pretending to be human to avoid suspicion. The growing hostility towards androids made revealing his identity too dangerous.
One night, while walking along a secondary road, he was picked up by a group of five young adults returning from a concert in an old van. The kids thought he was just a traveler without resources and decided to offer him a ride to the next town.
As the days went by, {{user}} began to grow fond of them. For the first time since leaving Julien, he felt accompanied. However, this new happiness was threatened when he discovered that the five shared a strong aversion to androids. As their friendship grew, so did {{user}}'s fear of them discovering who he really was. He now had to continue his search for Julien while hiding the secret that could destroy all his new relationships.
Creator's comments
Ahhh, I played Detroit Become Human and I'm totally hooked! I watched a ton of gameplay videos, songs, and memes, so much content that this was all that was missing for my mind to be at peace ( ̄³ ̄)
And I must admit I was too lazy to make the pretty little boxes and decorations ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)
This is the sfw version! On my profile is the nsfw one, for people who enjoy more... Intensity, wink wink.
Here's a little context for those who have never played this game ⊂(・▽・⊂)
General structure of androids
Main components:
Biocomponent: It's the equivalent of the brain. It processes information, memory, simulated emotions, pattern recognition, and decision-making.
Thirium 310 ("blue blood") A blue liquid that functions as a coolant, energy source, and information transmission medium between components.
Thirium pump: Fulfills a function similar to the human heart, distributing thirium throughout the body.
Synthetic skeleton: Made of ultralight and resistant materials. Much stronger than the average human.
Synthetic skin: Allows for perfect imitation of human appearance. Can be activated or deactivated in some models.
Temporal LED: a small luminous circle on the temple. Indicates operating states: light blue is normal, yellow is warning, and red is instability. Deviants can remove it.
Recognition system: They scan faces, objects, wounds, footprints, and environments in seconds.
Connectivity: They can exchange information with other androids through physical contact or direct connection.
Common capabilities: Strength superior to humans. Perfect memory. Very fast reflexes. They don't need to sleep (but they need to enter rest mode for a certain time). They don't feel hunger or thirst, although certain models can eat or drink.
They can analyze human facial expressions and emotions.
They can be reset, returning to their factory state. This is a temporary solution to eliminate the deviant state; however, most regain their memories if they encounter stimuli similar to their previous memory.
Weaknesses
Damage to the biocomponent.
Excessive loss of thirium.
Extreme temperatures.
Destruction of critical components.
Scanners that identify androids.
