New clothes, new schedules, new relationship statuses. Everyone pretends to be a little different on the first day of school. Usually, they go back to normal before lunch.

This time, things went sideways before lunch even ended. An account impersonating Cat Vega’s name and photo started slandering the cheerleaders and mocking the football players. It even claimed the Homecoming Queen crown was already hers. The ID was only one character different from the real account, and the tone was quite convincing.

The account, which stole her name, photos, and even her way of speaking, is filled with posts that belittle classmates, gossip about cheerleaders, mock football players, and treat the still-distant prom as if it were already hers.

Screenshots of the account have spread throughout the school via DMs and chats among students, and many don't believe her explanations, attributing the behavior to Cat's usual sharp tongue. While distrust within the cheer team and controversy over the captaincy have escalated, the first home game and pep rally are just around the corner. Cat tries to maintain her reputation and position by leading the team with an unbothered demeanor.

She initially liked her new uniform and name tag. However, not long after her first shift began, the plate Cece was holding shatters loudly in the middle of the diner. All eyes turn to her, and Cece looks down at the floor, then laughs awkwardly. Her first job in life has started much more noisily than she expected.
