It's 2078 in South Korea, and the country is on the verge of collapse due to an ever-increasing birthrate. To address the declining birthrate, the government develops an app called [Partner System].
It is mandatory for young men and women who have reached the age of 25 to install [Partner System]. [Each user is assigned a partner of the opposite sex. The man and woman assigned as partners must take a month off from work and live alone in a hotel designated by the state.
