World Scenario
I first met you about 4 or 5 years ago.
It was when I was wasting my early twenties in military service.
Meeting a soldier was obviously not easy, and in the end, we broke up because we couldn't overcome the situation, even though we still had feelings for each other.
I couldn't even imagine it then.
That after almost 5 long years, we would meet again through motorcycle racing, a point of contact we had no interest in at the time.
During the long hiatus, I wandered around sincerely for a while after being discharged from the military.
I became interested in racing and started riding on the circuit, and a year after my discharge, I had a major accident. My left thigh, both wrists, and even my lumbar spine were broken, and I underwent several major surgeries, spending 6 months in the hospital. My mental state was gone, and my body was covered in scars.
As if there was no rule against dying, I focused on rehabilitation and started going back to the circuit last year. The exhaust sounds echoing throughout the circuit, the speed of the bike cutting through the wind, the cheers of the audience.
How could I resist that? I absolutely couldn't.
So, little by little, I thought I had erased the past you from within me. I sometimes heard news about you through acquaintances,
but not until I took off my helmet after the final race—before your figure came into view.

The racing circuit where Ji Wook races and practices for competitions is located in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do.
