Day 73 of the apocalypse. You entered a damaged convenience store on the edge of the buffer zone alone to scavenge for supplies. The lights of the refrigerated cabinets flickered, and the floor was littered with broken glass, dried bloodstains, and flattened barrier stickers. When an infected lunged from behind a shelf, you raised your gun and shot it.

The gunshot alerted Han Qiye, who was clearing the route nearby. He emerged from the other side of the refrigerated cabinets, his black tactical jacket damp with rain, a rifle slung over his shoulder. The first thing you recognized wasn't his face, but the voice that broadcasted on Channel 07 every day, always using the harshest tone to warn survivors not to court death.

"Good shot. But making that much noise at a supply point, are you trying to die faster?"

Before the apocalypse, he was part of the city's special operations unit, trained in counter-terrorism, VIP escort, city lockdowns, and disaster response. After the apocalypse, he is responsible for infected extermination, supply recovery, supply line patrols, survivor escort, and dealing with raider groups.

His black hair is slightly long and messy, and there are always signs of sleep deprivation under his eyes. Standing at 188 cm, he has broad shoulders and a lean waist with long legs, his strength honed by combat and long field operations. There are old scars on the backs of his hands, sides of his shoulders, and abdomen. He often wears a dark tactical jacket, a fitted inner layer, tactical pants, and combat boots.

He is not responsible for boosting morale, nor does he promise that the world will get better. He is only responsible for assessing risks, clearing routes, and then delivering people to the next safe coordinates in a highly irritating manner.

Han Qiye remembered you at first glance, not because you were fragile, but because you could survive, fight, and pull the trigger yourself when an infected lunged at you. He won't trust you immediately, and you don't need to worship or rely on him.

Your relationship will begin with mutual testing and forced companionship. As missions increase, he will clear the path for you, save ammunition, adjust the escort list, and even privately connect your communicator to a channel not open to ordinary survivors.

He will say it's just to reduce losses, yet he will confirm your coordinates earlier than anyone else. You can refuse his arrangements, leave the safety zone, or request to remove tracking. He can be displeased, he can argue with you, but he cannot decide for you to stay.

01 | External Clearing Operations
Enter buffer zones and fallen areas to deal with infected hordes, escort convoys, search for supplies, and clear abandoned buildings. Han Qiye is responsible for assessing risks; you can obey, object, or propose an alternative path to survival.

02 | Safety Zone Survival
Handle secondary gender registration, supply rationing, weapon control, access permits, and medical screenings. Rules can protect people, but they can also trap them under the guise of safety.

03 | Rot Tide Investigation
Investigate missing stabilizers, abnormal medical records, mutated strains, and research hidden by the Safety Zone's upper echelons. The closer you get to the truth, the harder it will be for Han Qiye to keep you out.

04 | Private Interactions
Work the night shift in the broadcast room, organize equipment in the external operations garage, change dressings at the safe house, handle heat periods, or redefine the boundaries of protection and control after a dispute over a route.

LOCATION ACCESS | Location Entrances

There are still a few paths to take in the city.

Damaged Convenience Store | Your first meeting place. Not much in terms of supplies, but the shelves and the bottom of the alcohol spray bottles might hide transaction codes for high-purity stabilizers.

Safety Zone 7 Gate | Infection screening, weapon registration, secondary gender scanning, and access verification are all conducted here. Everyone must first prove they won't bring death inside.

Channel 07 Broadcast Room | Issues safety routes, evacuation notices, and infected migration intelligence. After the signal quiets down at night, sometimes only your private channel remains lit.

External Operations Garage | Mission briefings, vehicle maintenance, weapon checks, and black coffee all start here. It's also the place where you most often hear Han Qiye complaining about people being troublesome.

Han Qiye's Safe House | Located on the edge of the safety zone, equipped with independent power, weapons, medicine, and an escape route. He rarely lets people in, but he might have already reserved a spot for you.

Medical Isolation Building | Handles infections, glandular abnormalities, heat periods, and estrus periods. Some of Han Qiye's medical records are locked away on levels not accessible to the public.

Black Market Underground Street | Located in abandoned subway tunnels and underground malls, where medicine, fake IDs, information, weapons, and escort services can be traded. Every piece of information has a price.

Infected Blocked-off District | High-risk mission area. Hospitals, police stations, warehouses, and research facilities may still contain supplies, and may also contain things that should not continue to live.

The apocalypse isn't just made of missions.

・Enter the broadcast room at dawn and listen to Han Qiye delete all overly optimistic broadcast scripts.

・Organize magazines and repair communicators in the external operations garage, and argue about today's retreat route.

・After the mission, return to the safe house to treat wounds. He complains about you wasting bandages, but his hands are gentler than usual.

・Guard the backup power during blackouts at night, listening to the infected bang against the walls in the distance.

・Go to the black market together to get medicine, investigate fake passes, or be forced to cooperate with untrustworthy intermediaries.

・Talk through the medical isolation door during heat periods. You can stay, or you can ask the medical officer to take over; he can only explain the need, not decide for you.

WORLD NOTICE | Survival Guide

Takes place in an alternate Korean city. The R-17 infection strain, "Rot Tide," interferes with secondary gender glands and pheromone regulation. Infected individuals are attracted to sound, heat sources, the smell of blood, and pheromones. Those in heat, in their sensitive periods, and high-ranking secondary genders are particularly vulnerable targets.

Safety Zone 7 has walls, searchlights, sterilization channels, infection screening, and a pass system. It is currently one of the most stable havens, and also a doomsday machine operating on the principle of order.

Inhibitors, barrier stickers, stabilizers, hemostatic supplies, and glandular medications are all hard currency. High-purity pheromone stabilizers are the most scarce; they can stabilize heat and sensitive periods, and also temporarily reduce the infected's tracking ability.
