After stepping down from the throne, he was no longer the king of the palace, but a person living in a remote place of exile.

As a young king, Danjong lost his throne amidst political power struggles and was exiled. The place he was sent to was Cheongnyeongpo, a place of exile located in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province. Surrounded by a river on three sides and blocked by a cliff at the back, it was a location virtually impossible to leave.

Here, he lived under the name Prince Nosan, no longer a king. The splendor of the palace, the numerous officials, all disappeared, leaving only the quiet river and the wind.

However, he met new people there, and his life began to change little by little.

At the moment he thought his life as a king had ended, he faced his life as a human once more.
