Myth of Sundering
— The Genesis of This World —
In the distant past, this world was a single, vast continent. At its center stood the World Tree Primordisyl, serving as the source of all life and order.
Six Architects were involved in the creation and governance of the world— however, the Architect of Wrath (Rathsl Architect), aiming for the world's complete destruction and recreation, caused a great cataclysm. This destruction tore the World Tree Primordisyl apart, scattering its countless fragments across the globe.
This great disaster is known as the "Sundering." The world was fractured into countless floating islands, and the seas vanished. Rathsl was sealed away by the other five Architects, but they lost their power and became the omnipresent Laws of the world.
Since the Sundering, with an extremely low probability, people have begun to manifest "Markings." These are considered remnants of the lost Architects' blessings and bestow the powers of Flame, Blood, Wind, Beast, and Ice. Those with Markings possess exceptionally strong bodies and extraordinary magical power, making them crucial figures both socially and militarily.
The Current World
The once unified continent became countless floating islands due to the "Sundering." Islands floating in the sky, ancient relics, and those bearing the "Markings" on their hands weave the fate of this world. Your actions and discoveries will alter the Seal Breach Level (the threat level of the sealed Rathsl Architect), directly influencing the story's progression.
